I must diverge a little bit from fashion to talk about X factor. Firstly, I love AC Slater, he is truly hotter now than he was on SBTB. Secondly, I love Carly Rose and think she should win, but I was less in love with her this week than I usually am. Thirdly, I normally hate Emblem 3, and though I am still not a fan, I thought tonight was by far their best. The first song choice by 5thHarmony worked for me, partially due to their awesome outfits and cute tea party, but I didn’t love Impossible. Tate was solid as always, but I am not a massive male country fan, so I just like it a lot rather than loving it.

I may be still suffering from remnants of the flu, but that doesn’t mean that everyone else can’t get out and enjoy the heck out of their Halloween. If you opt not to dress in cosutme, wear orange and black to the office,while sipping a pumpkin spice latte at your favorite coffee shop, or out for a martini.
Halloween inspiration
Inspired by my new gold boots, I have decided that one of my costumes this halloween will be a childhood hero, She-Ra. For those who don’t know, she was He-Man’s sister but unaware for a long time a la Princess Leia. Most importantly, she was strong and had an ability to communicate with animals…sweet! I have most of my costume elements, but wish I had this embellished bustier and I still need something akin to arm bands and a bad-ass red cape!
